Kessisheen Plaza, which formerly housed Cway confectionaries factory located opposite the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) bustop, Ejigbo, is on fire.
Although the fire service is presently battling to put it out and contain it from spreading, no casualty was recorded.
As at press time, the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, although the fire service has not ruled out the cause being either an electrical or chemical fault.
Confirming the incident, the South-west spokesperson for the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, said no life was lost.
He said, "The outbreak of fire was at former Cway compound opposite NNPC Ejigbo. The fire service are battling to put out the flames."
